Our Story & Vision
The Pentecostal Church of Christ is birthed by the providence of God as a fragment of the arrowhead for keeping watch of God’s Kingdom on earth while raising generations of light for the Gospel of Jesus.
In the eyes of God, the mission and vision of Jesus are to be pursued in a holistic fashion by believers who are truly sold out as His disciples – living solely for His sake and purpose. We believe in those who are prepared to die to self, take up their cross and follow Jesus, so that their old nature of sinful lifestyle or personal gain no longer rules, but Jesus becomes all in and through them to manifest Himself to those around them.
Pentecostal Church of Christ is a unique multicultural church with love and compassion for God and our community. We are a community‑focused church and believe in inspiring young people. We preach faith in Christ Jesus, active righteousness and self‑esteem to all ages, races and cultures. We mentor, support and encourage people in all areas of life, creating suitable activities as to our present capability.
We have the passion to impact and empower change in the community and to transform generations at home and abroad. God loves us as foreigners on earth and so we love everyone as they are. We reach out and support people to know and accept the love of God through Jesus Christ, accommodating, caring for and monitoring young people in the right paths of development to make them relevant to their society.
Objectives & Activities
- Active member of Churches Together in Dorking, involved in relevant local voluntary activities.
- Fostering and supporting young people of diverse needs, including unaccompanied minor asylum seekers for Surrey Council Authority.
- Sponsoring children in Ghana through Compassion UK.
- Establishing and maintaining the Anitan Christian Academy School Project in Ibadan, Nigeria.
- Serving as Centre Base of the Global School of Ministry UK in Dorking, training and equipping ministers for service.
- Supporting voluntary gift aid to refugees and other victims of crisis.
- Supporting Foodbank alongside Churches Together in Dorking.
- Serving as the Surrey Chapter of International Ministers Fellowship UK, supporting and standing with other Pentecostal churches in Surrey.
